A few months ago, Congleton company Franklyn Financial Management published their first children’s book, Franklyn – No Ordinary Fox, written by yours truly!

There are so many positive aspects to this venture by Franklyn Financial Management, but one of the best things is that the company are visiting schools around Congleton and surrounding areas, with an amazing Franklyn Fox mascot, and reading the book to young children.

And it gets even better! Not only are the lucky schoolchildren getting to meet a human-size Franklyn Fox, but they also get a free copy of the book to take home!

Franklyn – No Ordinary Fox teaches children about the importance of saving for the future, which is something that Franklyn Finanical Management believe in passionately.

The book allows them to get this message across to kids in a fun and effective way, without overwhelming them with information. In fact, Franklyn – No Ordinary Fox doesn’t mention money at all. Instead, it talks about eating sustainable foods such as berries, and planting seeds to grow more. So the berries act as a metaphor for investing in your future.

The book has been well received by children, parents and teachers alike, and I am so excited to see the photos that Franklyn Financial Management have taken at the various schools that Franklyn Fox has visited so far.

The company have very kindly agreed to let me share some of those photos – check out the gallery below.
