I was recently invited to do an author visit at my local library in Congleton. The library underwent a facelift before Christmas, so it was nice to get the chance to see the new look while getting to read one of my books to some young local book fans!
There was a great turnout with lots of mums, grandmas and their little ones, and I even met a little girl who used to have a Sarah’s Shadow poster on her bedroom wall.
The kids seem to enjoy hearing me read One Night in Beartown and spent the rest of the session doing various related activities that I’d brought with me, which are downloadable from this page.
Thanks to Congleton Library for inviting me. I hope to come back again when my next book Snailish is out!
