After a busy Kickstarter campaign during lockdown, several months liaising with my wonderful artist Si Clark to get the illustrations just right, and then the search for a good local printer, I am pleased to say that One Night in Beartown was published on 1 December! In a rather freaky coincidence, my pallet of 1,000 copies was delivered three years to the day that my debut Sarah’s Shadow arrived! I realised this because Facebook reminded me if a photo I uploaded on 1 December 2017.

I am excited to say that the early sales of One Night in Beartown have far exceeded those of my first picture book, and I have been kept very busy driving around Congleton delivering orders to parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who have all been buying the book for their loved ones for Christmas, and of course all the individuals and business owners who backed the Kickstarter in the first place.

I am very grateful to Congleton Visitor Information Centre who are stocking the book. They have it on their display in their shop window, which is a great advertisement.

If any other shop owners would like to sell the book, please get in touch. You can also buy the book from my online shop on this site or the publisher’s site here.
