I’m excited to reveal that Full Media Ltd has teamed up with Rainforest Trust UK for a wonderful new project: The Problem with Poppy, the debut picture book by author Emma Sandford.

Following our Kickstarter success last year, where we raised £4,000 to produce One Night in Beartown thanks to generous support from the people and businesses of Congleton, we are now looking to raise £2,500 for Emma’s book. The story is set in the rainforest and follows a cute porcupine called Poppy who has trouble making friends. She is defensive due to her difficult past, but a playful tiger cub is about to change all that…

Perhaps most exciting of all, we have signed an agreement with Rainforest Trust UK that promises that, when the book is published, we will donate £1 per book sale to RTUK, helping to protect the rainforests and the wildlife that inhabit them.

Rainforest Trust UK’s Fundraising Manager Vicky Wallace said this about the book:

“We love the message of The Problem with Poppy, the story has so much heart. We hope the Kickstarter is successful and the book gets published, as the £1 donation per book sale will do a lot of good for endangered species and rainforest protection.”

If you would like to pledge your support by pre-ordering a signed copy of the book, or if you’d like to go for one of our premium rewards, such as plush toys and RTUK certificates for saving up to 20 acres of rainforest, please click here

Thanks for reading! Fingers crossed we’ll hit the target and this wonderful book will be read by thousands of children!
