Which of the above bears will we catch next on our bear hunt?
The Kickstarter for One Night in Beartown has been going well over the past few weeks. A number of Congleton companies have sponsored the book now, including Bearmania 2011 organiser and Secret Millionaire star Dawn Gibbins MBE, Jantex Furnishing Company Limited, the puntastic Bear Grills Cafe, New Life Church and more.
But I need more! With just over a week to go, I still require over £1,000 to hit the Kickstarter target, and if I don’t hit it, there will be no funding. The bears pictured above (L-R: Berisfords Ribbons, Whittaker & Biggs, Plus Dane Housing, Triad UK and Congleton Chronicle) are among those I’ve set my sights on, and I’m in discussions with some of the organisations that sponsored these bear statues during Bearmania 2011. If any of them agree, their bear will feature prominently in the illustrations of One Night in Beartown when all 75 bears come to life and have a magical party in Congleton Park.
It’s not just about sponsorship, though. You can help me reach the target by simply pre-ordering a signed copy on the Kickstarter page, or you could simply share this blog on your social channel of choice.
